I watched the movie, i liked it a lot, i wanted to read the books so i went to the bookstore but they were REALLY expensive :/

Fun fact is that they were more expensive than other books like the ones from Mario Vargas Llosa, who got a Nobel prize 2 years ago making his books unaffordable for most people

I dont know if happens the same on other countries but here in Peru books are expensive and their prices rise when they suddenly become famous >:/

I get too distracted on the PC to read it on-line ;_; i hope to get it on a Secret Santa XD

Where I live, the book prices went down when The Hunger Games was made a movie. It was some kind of an advertisement trick I guess.... o.O

in my country, generally, more intellectual or classic books are sold much cheaper than the famous or pops, so that poor people can buy it, but not always the case.
